It is a huge international network of computers.

In 1990 by Tim Berners Lee and Robert Cailliau.

5. Why did they invent this system?
To help scientists to share ideas and information.

6. When did the Internet become public? How
did it grow?
In 1993 and it grew very fast.

7. By whom is the internet used today?
By millions of people all over the world.

8. What do you need if you want to “go online”?
A computer and an Internet router or Wi-Fi.

9. What are the uses of the Internet?
a. To get information about various things.
b. To send and receive e-mails.
c. To download music, films, applications…etc.
d. To use it for shopping.

10. What are the negative aspects of the net?
a. It hurts the eyes.
b. It is sometimes a waste of time.
c. It is a bit lonely.
